7/22/2010: Max Martin Thomas

Max is the first baby of our good friends Iwan and Sara. He was born July 14th, and arrived 8 weeks before his due date. He was 4 lbs. 8oz and a whopping 18 inches long. He is still currently at Mary Birch Hospital but is doing great. Teri got to visit him and Sara today.
Family life is full of major and minor crises -- the ups and downs of health, success and failure in career, marriage, and divorce -- and all kinds of characters. It is tied to places and events and histories. With all of these felt details, life etches itself into memory and personality. It's difficult to imagine anything more nourishing to the soul.
