6/25/2009: Playing with the Experiment Box

This past Christmas all the grand kids got a really cool present from Grandma and Grandpa. They each got their own “Experiment Box” filled with tupperware, measuring devices, food coloring, spoons, cornstarch, salt and a baster. They keep the boxes at grandma’s house and pull it out to play when we are go over. The boys have so much fun mixing and creating.

Tyler turns 2 years old on June 16th so we had a “little” family birthday party for him.

La Jolla Country Club has Sunday nights designated as Family Nights so kids are allowed to come and have dinner.
Family life is full of major and minor crises -- the ups and downs of health, success and failure in career, marriage, and divorce -- and all kinds of characters. It is tied to places and events and histories. With all of these felt details, life etches itself into memory and personality. It's difficult to imagine anything more nourishing to the soul.
