5/25/2009: Memorial Day Afternoon in Corona

After showers and lunch, we packed up and headed to Karl’s house in Corona for the rest of our Memorial Day festivities. We gathered with the Hamsons for swimming, playing and dinner.

Jaxon slides at half the speed of smell.
Flipping and spinning was the order of the day
The pale scrawny Hamsons congregated near the shallow end.
Most of the California Hamsons gathered to memorialize things.

He lost his nerve at the end and requested a joint jumping.
Even the shoulders was a little scary, so he clung to Dad instead.

Tyler’s favorite part of swimming is getting warm afterwords and getting a snack.

The weather cooperated nicely.

The girls took turns being a spot on the tunnel and sliding through the niece-made tunnel.
There were not enough wipe-outs for our enjoyment.
