At the New Children’s Museum Gala, Rich bid on and won an overnight at the NCM. It was for up to 10 or 15 kids but we took just the 5 “old” grandkids leaving Tyler and Atty at home.
We spent the evening playing with the museum all to ourselves and the boys had such a great time playing in the different rooms, climbing the walls, and participating in some set activities like painting and sculpting clay. We had a pizza party dinner and then ended by setting up air mattresses and sleeping bags in a room with a projector where we watched… Incredibles I think.
Jaxon loved being with all his cousins and we had a really great night.

Family life is full of major and minor crises -- the ups and downs of health, success and failure in career, marriage, and divorce -- and all kinds of characters. It is tied to places and events and histories. With all of these felt details, life etches itself into memory and personality. It's difficult to imagine anything more nourishing to the soul.
