Our shoes routine
All we have to do is say ’shoes’ and Tyler runs for this step and sits on it with his legs out.
We just put sun screen on them, that’s why they’re shiny.
Summer Harriff and her daughter Bri on the slide.
Tyler took advantage of the slide distraction to take a ride in Bri’s car.
Bri showed Tyler what happens to boys who take her toys.
Jaxon worships at the feet of Teri
What’s the best activity for pregnant women? Rapidly spinning in a tight circle.
Mike tries to help Jax escape over the top of the climbing structure.
Tyler and Norm take a swing.
Jax has his thumb, Tyler has his pacifier and Bri, as it turns out, likes to give hickies to the meaty part of the base of the thumb.
Tyler looks around for AAA.
Yet another man who refuses to ask for directions.
The Hamson boys take a ride in a jeep.
Bri jumps in the back seat of Jaxon’s jeep.
Happy Bri shows off the knot she got on her eye brow from an unoccupied swing in full pendulum.
Driving Ms. Breezy.
Top half of Tyler’s head, bottom half of Norms head and all of Bri.
Jax was slowly spinning when a bigger boy decided to join him and send that thing to ludicrous speed.
Jax held on for dear life and then needed a little time to himself to recover.
Walking back to the Harriff’s from the park.
Mike and Summer have a bounce house in their back yard.
This is what our boys do in the bounce house. Jaxon is about to land with both knees into Tyler’s back. Tyler’s rejoinder was to say, ‘Ow,’ and then roll-over and jump back onto Jax.
Individual pizzas and a perfect sized table for lunch.

4/18/2009: Hamson Family Easter Celebration

Our Easter celebration with the Hamson family was at San Dieguito Park this year. It was a great afternoon filled with family, food and easter egg candy.

We almost made it to the park without a nap…
Despite the boring drive, Tyler managed to stay awake.
The Hamson cousins were in mid-soccer game when we arrived.
The non-soccer players tried to make stick structures.
The big people were unimpressed with Robert’s one-ball-juggling routine.
Jax and Ty get some dinner instruction from their older cousins.
Seth and Jaxon are aware of the camera.
The grown-up table.
Eli was willing to get near the ground, so Tyler pounced.
I’m not sure what game is going on, but Tyler and Jax are somehow in the middle of it.
The easter egg hunt begins.
Jaxon races for eggs.
The little cousins had a low degree of difficulty on their hunt.
The bigger cousins head into the thicket to find the more carefully hidden eggs.
Tyler wanted to open and eat each egg.
Jax shows Aunt Lisa his haul.
Uncle Matt is slowly morphing into Lolo.
Charlotte unwraps some candy.
The final egg results are being tallied.
A happy Karl and Carmen loom over Michelle.
Egg opening rampage.
Handing your loot bag to an adult may not be a good way to keep your candy.
Robert supervises the candy eating.
It at least looks like everyone is having a good time.
Trying to work off the sugar high.
Keep those girls and boys carefully separated.
Bubbles.
Tyler likes easter… you get to play outside all day, pop bubbles and eat chocolate.

12/31/2008: Saturday Picnic

Lilly gets in on the air hockey action
In order to play air hockey at his whim, Tyler had to learn a new word: “On!”
Tyler claps for anyone who scores a goal.
Tyler and Tony have the same favorite corn.
Tyler also approves of Aunt Bryn’s famous pumpkin pie.
Josh and Paige team up against Jaxon, Lilly and Tyler.
